I DESPISE fake Christmas trees but I wanted to start putting up decorations and figured I would start with Lillian's room. I told Lillian she could pick a tree to go in her room. She picked this fiber optic tree (the cheapest one by the way). After lunch we set it up in her room. She was very helpful too; she tore the instructions and threw the replacement bulb on the ground. We plugged it in and viola! She immediately started trying to pick the "colors" off the tree and then kept putting her face and fingers on the fiber optic wires. We left it on as we read our story before nap and even sat in the rocker with the lights off looking at it change colors. Right now she is taking her nap with the tree still lit up.
