First Scrape

Lilly has officially been initiated into the world of toddler hood - she got her first skinned knee on Friday. She wanted to carry a box from the mailbox and kept falling on the driveway. She cried a bit and we went inside and cleaned it up. Daddy taught her to say "scrape" and Mommy kisses the scrape and says "all better." Now when we put ointment on the scrape, she points to it and says "Mommy kiss, all bet." This morning when I was putting the ointment on her, she grabbed the tube (it was closed) and proceeded to put ointment on her leg and mine!
